At Green Executives Academy, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours are calculated based on international best practices for non-formal learning, following the structure outlined in the ISO 29993:2017 framework. Our goal is to ensure that every course delivers measurable, high-quality learning with practical outcomes.
Each course includes a combination of:

- 📘 Further readings and recommended resources
- 🧠 Real-world case studies and practical examples
- 📝 Quizzes and assessments (1–2 per course)
- 🎓 Certificate of Completion with CPD hours stated
Our video content is not just talking head material — it consists of detailed, data-rich presentations typically spanning 15–25 slides per module or more, explained in a lecture-style format. While the total voiceover time may be around 3–4 hours, learners are expected to pause, reflect, review the materials, and explore further reading. This active engagement is part of what makes each course equivalent to 15–20 hours of structured CPD learning.
📄 For many courses, we also offer downloadable PDFs of the full presentation slides so students can follow along, take notes, and revisit content as needed.
Each CPD hour represents approximately 60 minutes of engaged, outcome-based learning. At the end of every course, learners receive a certificate stating the total number of hours earned — ideal for your CV, LinkedIn, or employer development record.

❓Who is the instructor and what are their qualifications?
All courses at Green Executives Academy are developed /supervised and/or taught by Gorica Gasevic, the founder of GEA and a highly experienced renewable energy consultant, entrepreneur, and business educator. She brings over 20 years of international experience in education, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Gorica has taught marketing and business at both college and high school levels — including Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A-Level curricula — and holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University. Her academic experience, combined with real-world entrepreneurial success and certifications in digital marketing, Scrum, and data science, ensures that all GEA courses are practical, credible, and globally relevant.
